And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the
Kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye,
and believe the gospel.

WE BELIEVE.....
1. The Inspiration of the Bible
- The Holy Bible is GOD's Word to man.
- The Word was written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, 2 Tim 3:15-17,
Heb 1:1-2, 1 Pet 1:19-21.
- The Bible is the only authority for the church, is infallible (never wrong), is
the only guide to eternal salvation, 2 Tim 3:15, and is our divine guide and
standard for faith, doctrine and daily living, 2 Tim 3:16-17.
- The Preacher/Teacher has no authority whatsoever to preach or teach
anything except the pure Word of God, 2 Tim 4:1-5!
2. The One True God
- There is One True and Living God, Isa 45:22, Mark 12:32, eternally existent
in 3 Persons, God the Father, God the Son (Christ Jesus), and God the
Holy Ghost (Spirit), Matt 28:19, Luke 3:22.
- This True God, Creator of Heaven, Earth and Mankind is almighty, all
powerful, all knowing, and forever the same, Mal 3:6, Heb 3:8.
- As man's Creator, He has the authority (the right) and power to hold all
people and nations accountable to His standard, the Bible.
3. The Lord Jesus Christ is fully God
- The Deity of Jesus Christ (fully God as is the Father and the Holy Spirit),
Matt 1:23.
- That Christ was in the eternal past with the Father before the Heaven and
Earth were created, Rev 1:8.
- That Christ was born, the only begotten of the Father, John 3:16, of the
virgin Mary (with no earthly father) and was given the earthly name Jesus,
Matt 1:21. God promised from the beginning, Gen 3:15, that Jesus birth
would be the seed of woman (not the seed of man) meaning His birth would
be miraculous (born of a virgin), Isa 7:14, Isa 9:6, Matt 1:23, Luke 1:27.
- That Jesus while living on earth in a flesh body had all the same feelings we
have, same temptations, but in all His humanity, He lived a perfect life
before God, absolutely without sin (as Adam and Eve should have done),
Heb 7:26, 1 Pet 2:22.
- While living on earth, Jesus healed people of every disease, had all power
and authority over all demons, and did many miracles, Matt, Mark, Luke,
John.
- That Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, died a physical death on the
Cross, giving His life Blood as God's sacrificial Lamb, the atonement for
man's sin, Heb 9:11-14, Heb 9:22-28. Every slain lamb of the Old Testament
pointed to this day when Jesus would die for the sins of the whole world,
John 1:29.
- His burial and His bodily Resurrection.
- That after He is bodily risen from the dead, He appeared to the women at
the tomb and to His disciples many times before His Ascension.
- His bodily Ascension to Heaven from whence He came, Acts 1:11, 1 Pet 3:22,
to be at the Father's right hand, Acts 7:55, 1 Pet 3:22.
- His physical return in the clouds of Glory to catch away (Rapture) His
glorious church to forever be with Him, John 14:3, 1 Thess 4:17.
- That Christ Jesus is the one and only Savior of Mankind, Acts 4:12, Titus
2:14, Titus 3:4-7.
4. The Fall of Man
- That Adam and Eve were created perfect (sinless) and lived a sinless life
before God, their Creator, in the Garden.
- That Adam and Eve were created with a free will (the ability to reason and
make decisions freely of their own choosing). They chose to eat of the
forbidden fruit, Gen 3:6.
- That Adam and Eve's disobedience in eating the forbidden fruit constituted
sin which separated them from their Creator. This willful act of sin caused
man to fall from his original state of perfection giving them a fallen nature (a
sin nature, carnal nature, carnal mind), Rom 8:1-9.
- That every person born since that day (except Jesus), has inherited Adam
and Eve's sin nature, Rom 5:12-21, Rom 3:9,19,23.
- That every person who dies in their sin (with unrepentant sin, unforgiven
sin, who dies while living a sinful lifestyle, that which is forbidden of God),
shall spend eternity separated from their Creator in the Lake of Fire, Rev 20:
14-15.
5. The Salvation of Fallen Man (The First of Four Cardinal Doctrines.)
- God has provided salvation for all in Jesus Christ our Lord, John 3:16, 1 Tim
1:15, 1 Tim 2:4, Titus 2:11, 1 John 4:9.
- God and only God is able to restore a person to Himself and does so when
we receive Christ as Savior, John 1:12.
- The one and only remedy for sin is Jesus Christ (His Cross, His Blood, His
Death) Rom 5:6-11, 1 Pet 1:18-19.
- The only means of being cleansed of sin (forgiven) is through repentance
and faith in the Precious Blood, the Redemptive Blood, of Jesus Christ, Eph
1:7, Col 1:13-14, 1 John 1:7.
- If any person will admit (confess) they are sinners in need of a Savior and
that Jesus is the Savior, that person shall be saved (redeemed, restored to
fellowship with God, born again, John 3:3-7, forgiven, purged, rescued,
made right with God) Rom 10:9-13, 1 John 1:9, 1 John 2:11-12.
- Those who are truly saved by grace through faith, Eph 2:8-9, will have an
inner peace, joy, and a new desire to please God, 1 Thess 4:1. The outward
evidence of salvation is a changing lifestyle with new priorities, Col 3:17.
6. The Ordinances of the Church
- The two ordinances God has instructed us to continue are water baptism
and Holy Communion (The Lord's Supper).
- All who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ unto salvation should follow Jesus
in water baptism by immersion, Matt 28:19, Mark 16:16.
- That water baptism is not salvation, does not wash away sin, but is symbolic
of the meaning to be born again. As Jesus was buried and Resurrected to
Life, so the believer dies to their old sinful life in Christ. "Therefore if any man
be in Christ, he is a new creature, old things (old sinful lifestyle) are passed away,
behold, all things are become new," 2 Cor 5:17.
- That all believers should follow Jesus in the Lord's Supper, Matt 26:26-30
and Cor 11:23-28.
7. The Baptism in the Holy Spirit. (A Cardinal Doctrine)
- We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit as promised in Luke 3:16, John
14:16-17, 26, Acts 1:5, Acts 2:33, 38-39, Acts 5:32.
- The baptism in the Holy Spirit is separate from salvation. The salvation
experience makes one ready for baptism (water baptism and Holy Spirit
Baptism). (There are three baptisms. Salvation—the Holy Spirit baptizes
the believer into Christ or the body of Christ, Rom 6:3-11, 1 Corn 12:13, Gal 3:
26-27, Col 2:12. Water baptism -- the pastor baptizes the believer in water.
Holy Spirit Baptism -- Christ Jesus baptizes the believer into the Holy Spirit,
Luke 3:16).
- We believe the same Baptism the 120 received in Acts 2:1-4 is a valid
experience for all believers today and should be a desire of all believers as
we follow the teachings of God’s Word, Acts 2:38-39.
- The Holy Spirit, like salvation, is received by faith in what God has promised
in His Word, Gal 3:2, 14, Acts 5:32.
- That all who are Baptized with the Holy Spirit, Acts 1:5 (Filled with the Holy
Spirit Acts 2:4, endued by the Holy Spirit, Luke 24:49), shall speak in other
tongues (unknown tongues), (a language of the Holy Spirit but not known by
the person speaking), as the Spirit gives the utterance (ability or audible
expression), Acts 2:4.
- The Baptism in the Holy Spirit with the initial physical evidence of speaking
in other tongues was a major teaching in the early church, Acts 8:14-19, Acts
10:44-48, Acts 11:12-17, Acts 19:1-6. This teaching was of such importance
that God gives warning not to resist the Holy Spirit, Acts 7:51 and not to
forbid speaking in other tongues, 1 Cor 14:39.
8. Divine Healing (A Cardinal Doctrine).
- Divine Healing is a powerful and tremendous blessing from God to His
people in both the Old and New Testament. There are many people living
today because someone prayed and believed God for their healing. We
know that some are prayed for and not healed, but many are and we must
leave this decision in the hands of God. We are to always trust Him to do
what is best and right in every case. Keep praying, Matt 7:7-11, Matt 21:22,
1 John 3:22.
- Healing and deliverance from sin and sickness are provided for in the
atonement Christ Jesus made for all on the Cross. Looking forward to the
Cross Isaiah wrote, with His stripes we are healed, Isa 53:5. Looking back to
the Cross Peter wrote, by whose stripes we were healed, 1 Pet 2:24.
- Healing is the privilege of all believers, Isa 53:4-5, Matt 8: 16-17, James 5:14-
18.
9. The Blessed Hope (A Cardinal Doctrine).
- We believe the promise of Jesus, I go away to prepare a place for you, And
if I go and prepare a place for you, I WILL COME AGAIN, and receive you
unto myself, that where I am, there you may be also, John 14:2-3.
- The Angel made the same promise to Jesus’ followers, This same Jesus you
see going away, shall so come in like manner, Acts1:11.
- When Jesus comes again all who have died in Christ shall be resurrected,
and all Christians who are living at that moment shall be caught up
(Rapture), 1 Cor 15:51-52, 1 Thes 4:14-15. What a glorious day for all those
who choose to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ!
- That the bodily Resurrection of Jesus is a preview and assurance of the
bodily resurrection of all who have died with their faith in God. This great
event shall occur in the twinkling of an eye at Jesus’ return. Paul calls this
the Blessed Hope of the Church, Titus 2:13. Paul uses different wording to
describe Jesus’ coming, we shall be changed, 1 Cor 15:51-52, caught up, 1
Thes 4:17. The church today uses the word Rapture which means caught
up. 1 Thes 4:13-18 is a very clear picture of Jesus coming again as He
promised. Let the church believe and be ready.
- This doctrine and teaching of His coming is mentioned in most all of the
New Testament books. This teaching is an incentive for us to live a godly
life in this present world, Titus 2:11-12, and to keep ourselves in the love of
God, Jude 20-21. For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we
look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ; who shall change our vile body,
that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body, Phil 3:20-21. Is it any
wonder that this is the Blessed Hope of the Church?
10. The Millennial Reign of Christ.
- We believe that Jesus Christ will return to Earth to rule and reign a
thousand years, Rev 20:4-6. That when Jesus comes for His church (the
Rapture), He takes the church to Heaven with Him. That at a later date
Jesus comes with His church (the second coming) to judge the nations and
to set up His government to rule this Earth for a thousand years, Jude 14-15,
Rev 20:4-6.
- This is that time frame where the lion shall lay down with the lamb, Isa 11:6-
9. What a wonderful day of peace throughout the entire earth, a time not
known since the Garden of Eden.
- That the time between the Rapture and the Second Coming is at least
seven years in duration, Dan 9 and 12. This is a time of judgment upon all
who were left behind when the church was raptured. Jesus speaking this
time says there has never been another time like this nor never shall be,
Matt 24:21, Dan 12:1. This is in Earth’s near future. This is a time when a
man who is Antichrist tries to rule the world and impose Satan worship upon
all nations. In Daniel 7:8 and 24, Dan 8:9, this man is called the Little Horn, In
Dan 8:23, a King of fierce countenance, and in 2 Thes 2:3-4, this man is
called, man of sin and son of perdition. In Verse 8-9 of this chapter he is the
Wicked one. John says this spirit of antichrist was present when he lived, 1
John 4:1-3, 2 John 7. This antichrist spirit is very prevalent today throughout
the world and soon will possess a man who will be the King of Fierce
Countenance. He will be Satan’s Beast as described in Rev 13. Revelation 6
describes the rise and rule of Antichrist. His rule ends with the battle of
Armageddon, Rev 19:15-21. The Beast (Antichrist) and the false prophet
(the man who is assigned by Antichrist as religious leader of his satanic
kingdom) are cast alive into the Lake of Fire, Rev 19:20. This is the way all
rebels against Christ shall end, eternity in the Lake of Fire, with Satan, Rev
20:10, and verse 14-15, Rev 21:8.
- During the rule of Antichrist on Earth, the Raptured church is in Heaven with
Christ. It seems that just before the Second Coming, the church in Heaven
sits down with Christ at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, Rev 19:7-9.
Immediately following this great event, we find Christ Jesus coming back to
Earth with all His Saints, Jude 14-15, Rev 19:11-21. This great judgment upon
a Christ rejecting world will start His thousand year reign (the Millennium).
There is a great future for those who follow Christ!!!!!!
11. The Final Judgment.
- We believe there will be a final judgment of all unrepentant sinners at the
close of the Millennium, Rev 20:11-15. All who ever lived on Earth from
Adam and Eve to the present shall be judged and cast into the Lake of Fire
(all who are in rebellion against God).
- In this final judgment all who refuse to believe that God is Creator of all
things, that He is the one and only True God, that He loves man whom He
created, that God is the Author of the Bible, that His word to man is not to
be trifled with, that God gave His Son to die in man’s place, that Jesus was
born of a virgin, that He lived His entire life on earth without sinning, that He
died on the Cross to pay for your sins, that He was Resurrected and
returned to Heaven from whence He came, and that He commands all to
repent and be saved. In other words, all who refuse to believe God and His
Holy Word and the sacrifice Jesus made for their sins will be judged at the
Great White Throne and cast into the Lake of Fire.
- That Hell is a very real place where unbelievers go when they die, Luke 16:
19-21. This rich man and millions more are already in Hell’s torments
awaiting the final Judgment. All who deny Jesus Christ as Savior of the
world will join them.
- A partial list of the sins that damn the soul for eternity are found in the
following scripture. Please read these and understand that God will forgive
anyone who will repent and ask forgiveness. That’s the reason Christ came
to Earth, to save us and give us eternal life.
Mark 7:21-23, Rom 1:18, 28-32, 1 Cor 6:9-11, 2 Cor 11:13-15,
Gal 5:19-21, Eph 5:5-7, Col 3:5-8, Rev 21: 8.
- That we must choose Jesus today, now, before death or before Jesus
returns, if we want to spend eternity with Him! He loves you and desires to
save you and give you eternal life!
12. The New Heaven and New Earth.
- We believe that after Christ has ruled this present Earth for a thousand
Years and after the final judgment there will be a complete Renovation/
Restoration of the Heavens and Earth, 2 Pet 3:10-14, Rev 21 & 22.
- That all who were saved, God’s people, shall dwell forever with God and
have access to a beautiful, restored Universe. God has great plans for us,
Eph 2:4-7.
13. The Church and Its Mission.
- We believe that all who are truly born again by the Holy Spirit, who by faith
walk daily with Jesus Christ are part of His Church.
- That the church has one main purpose that is to represent Christ Jesus to
the world as man’s only Savior. In the Old Testament Covenant, Israel
was chosen of God to represent Him and His truth to the other nations.
Christ Jesus came, fulfilled the Old Covenant and started the New
Covenant. The New Covenant is Jesus Christ, His sinless life, His
sacrificial death as He gave His lifeblood to atone for man’s sins. He
chose those who believed on Him to start His Church. Under the New
Covenant the Church is to represent God, Christ Jesus and His Word to
an unbelieving world, Matt 28:19-20. It seems a large segment of the
church today has forgotten who we are to represent.
- The local church is a place for people to come together and worship God.
A place of instruction in the Word of God that all may mature in the faith.
The church is to be a lighthouse in the community by representing God and
His truth. Each local church should support the evangelization of the world
for Christ.
- The same as God called men and women under the Old Covenant to serve
Him in specific task, He does the same under the New Covenant. First
Jesus called the 12 apostles to begin His Church. He gave some apostles,
some prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers; for the perfecting of the
saints, for the work of the ministry, and for the edifying of the body of Christ,
Eph 4:11-15. Still today, God calls men and women to service in His
Church. Many times Israel failed in their service to God, in their
representation of the Holy God of Heaven by worshiping the gods of the
nations around them. There are some filling positions in the church today
that God did not call to that task or who, like Israel, are backslid and
following their own gods. This is the reason the church is not functioning
well in representing Christ as it should. But as surely as God judged Israel,
He will do the same in His Church that one day, He may present it to Himself
a glorious church without spot or wrinkle, Eph 5:27. God will have a pure
and holy church. This will be the church that Jesus shall present to Himself
any day now. Those that God calls are responsible and accountable to
God for fulfilling the task He called us to do. There will be great reward for
those that finish the task, 2 Tim 4:6-8!
